WELCOME - CLAYPOND'S KENNEL
I breed English pointers in my own home. The dogs I have bred have gone to show- and working families and also to live a nice life of a couch-potatoe. I have signed the Finnish Kennel Club's breeder-agreement, which means I only use dogs that have healthy hips and dogs that meet the breed regulations.
All of my dogs have got healthy hips (HD-A), so they are available for stud for healthy English pointer bitches.

22.11.2008 The puppies caught a cough from puppyshow in Turku, and gradually the cough spread to all of the dogs. That is why we have to miss the international dog show in Jyväskylä tomorrow.
14.11.2008 Yesterday we accompanied Remu to his last journey.
4.11.2008 Unofficial puppyshow in Turku 2.11.2008. Sara was BOB-puppy, got prize of honour and was placed 1st. Casey got prize of honour and was placed 2nd.
26.10.2008 Seinäjoki International dog show: Cralto got VG and was class winner. Nappi got EXC, class win, BB1, CAC, CACIB and BOB.

19.10.2008 Rudi, Cralto and Elli took a Finnish character test today and everyone passed the test. Rudi's points, Cralto's points and Elli's points.
31.8.2008 Ropi moved today to Lempäälä, to Ansku's parent's neighbour's neighbour Mimmi and Pete Kalliomäki. He will be keeping company to family Kalliomäki's mongrel bitch and will be a teach-master to the family's daughter in dog shows and of course he will be the centre of attention in this new loving family. Ropi is still available for stud through my kennel, for healthy English Pointer bitches that meet the breed regulations.
23.8.2008 Hämeenlinna international dog show: Nappi got VG and class win. Cralto got EXC, was second in his class and was BD3.
9.8.2008 National dog show in Helsinki: Nappi got EXC, class win, CAC, BB1 and BOS. Cralto got EXC, class win, BD1 and BOB.

21.7.2008 Cralto and Nappi yesterday in Ypäjä national dog show. Nappi was class winner and got VG, Cralto got G.
12.7.2008 Lammi dog show (FCI groups 7/8 & 9): Cralto was a class winner and was BD1 and BOB, and he got an excellent. Nappi was also a class winner and got very good.
11.7.2008 Yesterday Saress moved to his new home in Austria.

15.6.2008 International dog show in Forssa: Nappi got EXC, class win, CAC, BB1 and BOS. Cralto got EXC, class win, BD2 and res-CACIB.

10.6.2008 We got the DNA-identifications of the puppies today. Backup-mating with Remu proved to be unnecessary, as Tasu is the sire of all the pups!

8.6.2008 The main show of Finnish bird dog association in Lapua: Nappi was second in her class and got excellent and was also BB3. Cralto was fourth in his own class and also got an excellent.
7.6.2008 Toijala dog show (FCI groups 6 & 7/8): Nappi was class winner and got EXC, BB1, CAC and was the BOS, Cralto also was a class winner and got EXC, BD1 and was the BOB.

25.5.2008 Ansku took a turn at Helsinki Aptus International Dog Show with Cralto and Nappi. Cralto came home with very good and Nappi with excellent, class win, certificate and the best of opposite sex. Nappi was also the breeds best Royal Canin-junior.

23.5.2008 The light-coloured girls are now definately oranges, cause their pigment got darker. So one solid orange and one orange-white girl.

15.5.2008 Yesterday, 14.4.2008, Elli gave birth to eight healhty puppies, four of them are already reserved for new families.

10.4.2008 Elli was ultrasounded today, and she is pregnant.

17.3.2008 Elli is now mated and in four weeks we shall take her to ultrasound to check if she is with puppies.

2.2.2008 Parkano dog show (FCI Groups 5 & 7/8): Ropi was class winner with VG, Nappi was class winner and got EXC, BB1, CAC and was BOS, Cralto also was a class winner and got EXC, BD1, CAC and was the BOB.
30.1.2008 Today was the vet-day. Elli, Claypond's Aldorigen and C. Arthon got their hips x-rayed, and and they all looked healthy. Now waiting for the official statement from Finnish Kennel Club. Also those three with and Remu, Ropi, Cralto and Nappi got their DNA-tests taken.

9.12.2007 Cralto ja Nappi in Helsinki International "Finnish Winner 2007"-show. With excellent critiques, Nappi was the class winner and got Very Good and Cralto was also a class winner with Excellent and was the 3rd best dog of the breed and got res-CAC and res-CACIB.
