WELCOME - CLAYPOND'S KENNEL

I breed English pointers in my own home. The dogs I have bred have gone to show- and working families and also to live a nice life of a couch-potatoe. I have signed the Finnish Kennel Club's breeder-agreement, which means I only use dogs that have healthy hips and that they meet the breed regulations.

All of my dogs have got healthy hips (HD-A), so they are available for stud for healthy English pointer bitches.

28.2.2010 First mating went on successfully. Puppies are hoped to born 1st of May.

24.2.2010 Pipsa's in season - mating will be late February/beginning March.

25.1.2010 Sara's and Nappi's hip x-ray results are back. Sara HD A and Nappi HD-C as expected due to the fracture in her leg when she was a puppy.

7.1.2009 Old news from the year 2009 were moved to it's own page into the Old news.

7.1.2010 Sara and Nappi got their hips x-rayed. Saras x-rays left to FKC with HD A/A -statement and Nappi's HD A/C (propably due to a fracture in her leg when she was 6 months old, as she ran for nearly two months with three legs).

29.12.2009 Because of current personal health problems the dogs are placed in new homes. Nappi is with a friend-family with placement agreement, Elli as a retired family-dog in Turku. Cralto and Casey in their new homes provided by a number of important tasks. Iina flew to England to his new home. Unique Sara is still home as a comforter.
