WELCOME - CLAYPOND'S KENNEL
I breed English pointers in my own home. The dogs I have bred have gone to show- and working families and also to live a nice life of a couch-potatoe. I have signed the Finnish Kennel Club's breeder-agreement, which means I only use dogs that have healthy hips and that they meet the breed regulations.
All of my dogs have got healthy hips (HD-A), so they are available for stud for healthy English pointer bitches.

14.8.2010 National Dog Show in Raisio: Backwoodhill's Miracle BOB, CAC, BIG-4 and Claypond's Aldorigen BOS, CAC.

20.6.2010 The main show of Finnish bird dog association in Lapua: Sara got Good. Veera Tervasmäki's Clayponds's Aldorigen "Rudi" brought the prize home, he was BOB and BIS5 and got certificate! Congratulations to Veera!
12.5.2010 Only two orange-white females available from the litter.
6.5.2010 Our little secret is out of the bag. Iina has taken over the hearts of her new owners in the UK. Her new owner Steve Williams: "I Most certainly do like her and she makes me proud already!! Ina has settled right in here in Herefordshire with the Tythe Dachshunds". Steve's interest in the solid colours is separate to his shared "Ridanflight" interest in pointers held jointly with Steve Rose, but they will continue their co-work same as before.
2.5.2010 There are three bitches still available from the new born litter. Two orange-whites and one black-white.
17.4.2010 Pipsa came today and waddled to check everything, from whelping box and puppy ring, very thoroughly. Her belly is quite large considering it's day 49, we believe that there are more than 6 puppies coming...
29.3.2010 Pipsa was in ultrasound and it showed approximately 7 puppies.
20.3.2010 Rudi and Sara in Tampere international dog show. Rudi was class winner and got VG, Sara got G.
28.2.2010 First mating went on successfully. Puppies are hoped to born 1st of May.
24.2.2010 Pipsa's in season - mating will be late February/beginning March.

25.1.2010 Sara's and Nappi's hip x-ray results are back. Sara HD A and Nappi HD-C as expected due to the fracture in her leg when she was a puppy.

7.1.2010 Sara and Nappi got their hips x-rayed. Saras x-rays left to FKC with HD A/A -statement and Nappi's HD A/C (propably due to a fracture in her leg when she was 6 months old, as she ran for nearly two months with three legs).
29.12.2009 Because of current personal health problems the dogs are placed in new homes. Nappi is with a friend-family with placement agreement, Elli as a retired family-dog in Turku. Cralto and Casey in their new homes provided by a number of important tasks. Iina flew to England to her new home. Unique Sara is still home as a comforter.
